The Eye of God, a sumptuous nebula situated in the Aquarius constellation some 650 light-years away, seems to watch us since time immemorial… This paperweight is made in Seattle, in the United States, according to a very distinctive traditional method: the glass is first heated to 1200 degrees Celsius, then stained; the artist then adds a 22 carat gold leaf and pieces of dichroic glass which create extraordinary effects of changing light and colours. Once the nebula is thus created, it is placed in a block of clear glass. Due to the artisanal fabrication methods, colours may vary from one model to another.
